Your Own Page Many people have been put off the Internet as a result of having been given exaggerated expectations of the effectiveness of a website and having been overcharged for the service provided. For this you will be given an internet address of the form www.net-cymru.co.uk/mysite, a photograph or logo, and about one A4 size amount of text. For a mere £5 extra you can have an enquiry postbox put on your site, enabling customers to contact you by email simply by entering their comments and clicking on a button. One of the nice things about dealing with businesses small enough to be below the VAT threshhold is that you don't have to add 17.5% to all the prices you are quoted. In any business, feedback on how you are doing is essential. Statistics on visitor numbers can be collected and posted to a part of your site that only you can access. No miracles - but a solid partnership No website, no matter how much you pay for it, can guarantee you business. Put your site on the Electronic Gateway and everything that can reasonably be done to attract visitors will be done. But you can also play your part to see that the public sees your address.
