Eich Gwefan Chi / YOUR Site on the Internet

Navigation and Other Standards on this Site

The site is organised in the form of pages. There are three types of links - internal links (between pages), external links and links within a page.

The Home Page, Wales and the Regions

The links from the Home Page are all internal links. This leads to information which is either of general interest or relating to Wales. Some pages such as "Information About Wales" lead to further internal links to pages with specific types of information.

Links within Pages

Some lengthy pages have been organised with links at the top of the page to ease access to specific information on the page.

The list of links is organised in one of the following ways:

External Links

External links on this website are indicated by using the actaul address as the link text. This enables visitors to the site to either note the address for future reference or click on the address to go to the site immediately.

Presentation Standards

A standard format of presentation has been used throughout the site. A green background with large lettering has been chosen both to be restful to the eye and to make the text as readable as possible by someone with visual impairment.

It also provides a clear indication of when you are leaving the site and arrive at another site. Net-Cymru has no control over the material on other sites - hence you may see material which is not consistent with the standards of this site - see Site Objectives and Policies .

Leaving Pages

Most pages end with a link back to the Home Page. If you don't want to go back to the Home Page, you can use the "Back Arrow" icon (usually on the top left corner of browsers) to return to the previous page. Some pages can be reached by more than one route, hence retracing your step is the most logical approach.

Regions

The site is organised into pages of general interest and of specific interest to Wales.

In addition the site is divided into areas relating to individual regions. These can be reached by clicking on "Regions" on the Home Page.

Welsh-speaking organisations and activities are treated as a separate region ("Cymru Gymraeg").
